The ghost is peaceful        silent as the mist                                   Its shadow lays in wake                                        waiting to devour its prey            His guards stand waiting        broad and strong                for its wanderer to fall                                                    With twists and turns                                            its easy to get lost        Amongst other things                                                The valley is bumpy and brittle                                        like pebbles on the sane                                              

They fly like eagles                Soaring in the wind                                Not one can touch them            Not one can hold them                        They are free to fly    Free as the mind                                    But they are not real                        They can't be                Can they?                                                A hope that has lingered for years                                A hope that has seared into my heart    Can it be truly real         Can they fly across my heart               Can they take me from a bitter land                                  

His eyes that search my every part            That seem to sink down to my heart                        Have seen the bits and pieces that have left                                    Me feeling bitter as I've always felt                           But he takes the pieces and makes them new            Something that I never knew                    He opened me up and looked inside                                            And found something I always tried to hide         My heart, crumpled and skinned                    He found dead and broken and simply sinned                                But he put me together, insid
